Karishma Sharma is a popular actress of Hindi small screen. She has also acted in a few Bollywood films. She has appeared in several television series and episodic programs like Pavitra Rishta, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Ye Hai Mohabbatein, MTV Webbed, Love By Chance, Dance India Dance, Aahat (season 6) and Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein. Pavitra Rishta – is one of her popular roles on small screen, where she portrayed the role of young and beautiful Pia. Known for her hot and sexy image, she played a negative role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms), which earned her appreciation.

Sharma often plays brief roles for Bollywood films. In 2015, she was seen in the super hit movie, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, where she played one among the two friends of Nushrat Bharucha, Tina. Earlier she has played small roles in Bollywood hits like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013), Vicky Donor (2012) and Bajatey Raho (2013). She played the role of Suheena, a 12th grader from a small town Rohtak in the youth oriented series - Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, where she was paired with Vikas Grover. She played the daughter-in-law of Maleeka R Ghai for the episodic show – Aahat. She was paired with Zaan Khan for Fear Files.

This actress was born and brought up in Delhi and now settled in Mumbai. A successful model, she has done ram walks for many leading designers of fashion industry. Though she earned fame through Balaji Telefilms’ long-running show Pavitra Rishta, she had to face a ban, following her sudden disappearance from the show. The actress later clarified that she had a high fever due to malaria at that time and could not shoot. After a little bit misunderstandings, she was taken back for the show.
