Karam Rajpal Biography

Karam Rajpal is a young budding actor of Hindi television industry. He is best known for playing the roles of Samar Raghuvanshi from Suvreen Guggal – Topper of The Year, aired on Life OK. He is also popular with the double roles of Sameer Atwal and Iqbal in 2014 series - Nadaan Parindey. He is associated with Indian television since 2011 and has portrayed noted roles in the popular series - Hamari Saass Leela, Rakshak, Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, Parichay etc. Currently he plays the role of Shivam Shrivastav in the popular series, Mere Angne Mein since 2015. He also played a cameo role of Daljeet in the Bollywood hit comedy - Mere Dad Ki Maruti.

He was born in Ludhiana, Punjab in 1991. His father Amarjit Singh Rajpal (nephew of great writer Gulzar) is a successful businessman and politician, who wanted his son to become an actor. In fact, though Amarjit dreamt to join film stream like his uncle, he didn’t get permsioon from his father then. So he supported Karam to fulfill his dreams. He did his schooling from DAV School and GRD Academy. After completing graduation in Business Administration, he joined an acting school in Mumbai.

He made his television debut in the year 2011, playing the male lead of Hamari Saass Leela. However the series went unnoticed. He left the series in the middle due to some internal issues. Same year, he played negative lead in the series, Rohit Thakral in Parichay, followed by another grey shaded role in Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, the following year.

He joined Life Ok with the youth oriented series, Suvreen Guggal – Topper of The Year which gained him instant success and fame. It was followed by the next venture with Life Ok, Rakshak, where he played a police officer’s role. But the television show was not successful comparing his previous venture. He bagged his second television soap as lead protagonist - Nadaan Parindey and he appeared in a double role.
