Kamal Passi is an Indian cricketer who plays for Indian Under 19 team. He was a part of the U 19 team that won the Cricket World Cup 2012. His exceptional performance in the world cup match against Zimbabwe with 6 wickets for 23 runs and 24 runs off five balls with one boundary and three sixes won him Man of the Match award and shot him to limelight. He totally took ten wickets in the world cup tournament.

 

Kamal Passi was born on 30th November 1992 in Amritsar in Punjab. He is a right handed batsman and right arm medium bowler. His father’s name is Kewal Kissan Passi and his mother’s name is Sunita Passi. He is living in Pawan Nagar of Amritsar district.

 

His father was a groundsman and he was the inspiration for Kamal to take up cricket as his career. She has one sister named Shabnam. He completed his studies at Hindu College at Amritsar.
