Kahlil Joseph Biography 
Kahlil Joseph is an Indian television and theater artist, now performing in North America and India. He is based in Los Angeles, USA. His full name is Kahlil Iohann Joseph and his name is pronounced as Kha-leel. Legally Blonde, Money Shot, The Conex, I Gelosi, Vivekananda: The Lion Between Matter and Spirit, The Road to Damascus, Tecumseh! and A Midsummer Night's Dream are his selected theater works. Eat Pray Love, Castle, Leverage, Thanksgiving USA, Numb3rs, Days Of Our Lives and Untold Stories of the ER are his US based television serials.
Joseph was born in New Delhi to an architect, Kurien Joseph. He is also a theatre practitioner and public speaking teacher. His mother Mary Joseph is an English Literature professor and author. Joseph frequently traveled with his parents on business trips to other countries. When he was one year old, the family moved to Sydney. He was introduced to the stage at five by his father. Since young, Kahlil displayed a strong interest in entertaining audiences and has been successful till now and he used to perform in various forms. His parents introduced him to the world of reading and thus he slowly built his interests and knowledge of other cultures and people. In 1983, Joseph moved back to New Delhi where he completed his schooling. He also regularly appeared in many competitions and won prizes as an entertainer and actor.
During his graduation in Ramjas College, University of Delhi, he became a part of several rock bands based on Delhi. In 1998, he played the role of Jean Valjean in a Delhi production, Les Misérables which was his big berak to theater world. Later he became successful as an actor in all forms of acting workshops, including television, cinema and theater.
