K. Vijaya Bhaskar Biography 
K. Vijaya Bhaskar is a successful film director associated with Telugu film industry. He has directed several Telugu blockbusters, and his Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster – Classmates with the same title in Telugu was critically acclaimed, through was not a commercial hit. He delivered successes with Trivikram Srinivas as writer, and has also worked with Abburi Ravi. Vijaya Bhaskar, the director with sensible feelings is associated with film industry since 1991. He directed one Hindi film – Tujhe Meri kasam, which launched the careers of noted Bollywood actors, Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza. Love blossomed between the lead actors on the film sets, and now they are happily married celebrated young couple of Bollywood.
Prarthana (1991) was his first film as an independent filmmaker. Since then he has directed the films, Masala, Prema Kavali, Bhale Dongalu, Classmates, Jai Chiranjeeva, Malliswari, Tujhe Meri Kasam, Manmadhudu, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, Nuvve Kavali and Swayamvaram. In the year 2000, he made Telugu blockbuster Nuvve Kavali, an official remake of Malayalam blockbuster Niram released one year earlier. The movie received national award for regional language film in Telugu, apart from 4 Filmfare awards including Best film and Best director. He remade the same movie to Hindi - Tujhe Meri kasam, marking his Bollywood debut in 2003. The movie was an average grosser.
Similarly he has remade many box office hits to Telugu. Nuvve Kavali, Manmadhudu and Nuvvu Naaku Nachav Manmadhudu are among his major hits. Malliswari, Bhale Dongalu, Prema Kavali and Masala are other releases. Jai Chiranjeeva was a box office failure. His association with Trivikram Srinivas has always worked at box office. He always prefers to make films with stories that touch his heart.
