Jigyasa Singh Biography

Jigyasa Singh is a popular television actress who works in Hindi television serials. She currently plays the female lead, Thapki in the popular television serial - Thapki Pyar Ki on Colors TV. She belongs to Jaipur, Rajasthan. Thapki Pyar Ki is her debut Hindi television soap. Prior to her debut in Hindi television series, she has done one serial in Rajasthani language - Chorre Tera Gaon Bada Pyaara (2014), aired on Zee Marudhara. She played lead role opposite Manish Goplani in her debut Rajasthani series, and surprisingly they currently work together in Thapki Pyar Ki, and this series marked Hindi debut of both these television actors also.

Jigyasa was born and brought up in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She was born on 25th June 1994. Her childhood and teens were spent in Jaipur where she completed her studies. After schooling in St Anselm's School, she completed graduation in Mass Communication from ICG. Since school days she was associated with extra-curricular activities, and loved acting, dancing and singing. However acting is her first love. She made her television debut in 2013 through the Rajasthani serial, Chorre Tera Gaon Bada Pyaara. She was paired with Manish Goplani.

In 2015, she along with Manish Goplani made her Hindi television debut through Thapki Pyar Ki. They play a married couple in the daily soap. Her lead role as Thapki, a stammering girl earned her popularity among Hindi viewers. She got appreciated for her acting talents as well. Most recently she was also featured in a music video, Dil Mere of Kunal Verma. She is currently in a relationship with her co-star Ankit Bhatla, who played her lover Dhruv Balvinder Pandey (parallel lead) in the series - Thapki Pyar Ki.
