Jigar Saraiya Biography 
Jigar Saraiya is a popular music director and playback singer of present generation who works in Bollywood. He, alongside Sachin Sanghvi forms the successful music duo -Sachin – Jigar, thus starting the new generation of music duo composers of Bollywood. Both have assisted music director Pritam in music arrangements, before gaining popularity as independent music directors. FALTU, Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Go Goa Gone, Teree Sang, Shor in the City, Hum Tum Shabana, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, I, Me Aur Main, Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, Shuddh Desi Romance, ABCD: Any Body Can Dance and Issaq are their most popular music albums. They have also done guest composition for many Bollywood films.
Jigar was born on April 12 in Gujarat. Both Jigar Saraiya and Sachin Sanghvi started with theatre and Hindi television before entering Bollywood. Both have also done jingles before entering movies. They did independent work creating small bit music pieces for more than 500 plays and about 5000 television episodes belonging to different genres. Jigar Saraiya was assisting Music Director Rajesh Roshan where he met Amit Trivedi. It was Amit who introduced Sachin Sanghvi to Jigar and thus began their association. First time, they worked together as assistants of music director Pritam. Earlier both have associated almost all leading composers of Bollywood including A. R. Rahman, Anu Malik, Nadeem Sharvan, Sandesh Shandaliya and Vishal Shekher.
In year 2009, they composed one song for the movie Life Partner. As independent music directors, FALTU marked their successful beginning in Bollywood. The songs - Char Baj Gaye and Le Ja Tu Mujhe were instant hits thus beginning the successful career of the music duo. This film successfully launched Jigar as a playback singer too. Later he sung numerous songs for his compositions of which Gulabi song of Shuddh Desi Romance was an instant hit. He is married to Singer/Lyricist Priya Panchal.
