Jennifer Kotwal Biography

Jennifer Dinshaw Kotwal is a successful model and actress associated with Bollywood and south Indian film industry. She has worked in Subhash Ghai’s Yaadein (2001) in a small role and played Himesh Reshammiya’s female lead in 2009 film, Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke. She has extensively worked in Kannada film industry, apart from doing a couple of Telugu films. She landed into Kannada film industry through blockbuster, Jogi opposite "Hattrick Hero" Shivarajkumar and the movie broke several box office records. Since then she has played female lead in several Kannada films and has been successful. She has played the role of a bubbly girl on silver screen multiple times.

She is a Parsi girl from Mumbai born on August 14, 1983. She completed her schooling and graduation from Mumbai and took BA in Economics. She started off her career with television in the late 1990s with the popular show – Just Mohabbat. It was followed by the television shows - Saturday Suspense and Professor Pyarelal, both in the year 2000. She has been a successful model, who became a household name among Indian TV viewers through the ads of Lakme, Fanta, Close-up and Cadbury and many others. 2001 Hrithik-Kareena starrer Yaadein was her first film appearance and very soon she got good offers from south Indian film industry. 

With her debut Kannada film, Jogi (2005) itself she got big break to south Indian film industry. She has worked with many leading actors of Kannada cinema like Upendra, Ravichandran, Srikanth, Sudeep, Vijay Raghavendra, Darshan etc. Masti, Ugadi, Nee Tata Naa Birla, Mast Maja Maadi, Eradane Maduve, Lava Kusha, Snehana Preethina and Eradane Maduve are among her noted Kannada films. Naa Mahabuddivantha, Ommomme and O Manase are her latest releases.
