Jayantilal Gada Biography 
Jayantilal Gada is an Indian film executive and producer who produces films and television serials. An entrepreneur he is the founder of PEN India (Popular Entertainment Network India), one of the leading production houses of the country. Noted young film producer Dhaval Gada is his son, who takes after the production house. Gada retired in 2014 at the age of 52 and declared his son as his successor who became the youngest Bollywood producer. Dhaval also formed his own company, Dhaval & Guroudev Productions that produces television soaps.
Jayantilal Gada is best known for the animated mythological – Mahabharat made in the year 2013. Dubbed by leading Bollywood actors for the animated characters, it is touted as most expensive animated film in Bollywood. Bheeshma’s voice was given by Amitabh Bachchan. Shatrughan Sinha, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff and Vidya Balan were the other leading voices. The movie received Best Animation Film at the 3rd Fiji Film Festival.
He was born in Lakadia, Gujarat into a middle class family. His father owned a small grocery store. He studied till class 10 and later assisted his father in his shop. He also took courses in radio repairing and photography. Gada started a small video library in his father’s store to hire video cassettes, which later turned to be a profitable business. He also started filming videos. It was later restructured and gave a new name – PEN in 1992. At the age of 25, he started acquiring copyrights for movies.
He married at a very young age of 21 and had two kids – one son and a daughter. He has one partner, Reshmaa Kadakia with whom he has one son. He made films with actors whose video cassettes he sold at one time. Vidya Balan starrer Kahani was produced by him and his cousin, which became a huge hit and won several National awards and Filmfare awards. He retired in 2014.
