Jas Arora Biography

Jas Arora has been one of the most successful and rocking models of 1990’s who has appeared in many chartbuster Hindi albums of late 1990's like "Gud Nalon Ishq Mitha", "Mera Longh Gawacha" & "Yaaro Sab Dua Karo". He was also seen in 1999 movie Dushman and a few more Bollywood movies. He played the role of Kajol’s fiancée in Dushman, who got brutally raped and killed. The popular romantic track, Aawaz do humko was pictured on Kajol and Arora. The model-turned-fashionista was offered the first season of "Bigg Boss" but he turned the offer down. He is known for his signature scarf-around-neck style.

Arora has also acted in Bollywood movies like Main Solah Baras Ki, Danger, Dil ka Sauda, Monsoon Wedding, Chalte Chalte and Pyar Ke Side Effects. He has also appeared in a televsion series – Achar!, where he appeared in the role of Ajay Chabria. Though this model had a bright career in the modelling industry in the late 1990’s, he couldn’t make it big in Bollywood. He couldn’t get even one memorable role in movies, except that of Dushman in which he played a supporting role. The success of movies like Dushman and Monsoon Wedding failed to foster his career.

This model has an obsession with scarves and often imports them in dozens from foreign countries. He is married to Dr. Bonnie Singh since 1998. Arora has also appeared in a few television serials in supporting roles. He played Prithvi Raj Chowhan’s father in the popular show on Star Plus. He also played the role of father of Barkha Bisht in Aruna Irani's Doli Saja Ke for Sahara One.
