Japji Khaira is an actress and model from Australia who works in Punjabi movies. A beauty pageant winner, she won the title 'Miss World Punjaban 2006' held at Ludhiana in 2006. Japji Khaira made her debut in the movie Mitti Wajaan Maardi, playing lead role opposite Harbhajan Maan, and also played lead role in Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad. She has also done a few cameo roles and supporting roles in Punjabi cinema. She was last seen onscreen for 2014 movie, ′′Ishq Brandy′′ where she played the supporting role of Simran.

Japji Khaira was born on January 15, 1988 in Ludhiana, Punjab. She follows Sikhism. She completed her graduation in Information technology. She started her career with the movie Mitti Wajaan Maardi in 2007. But she took a small break from films and returned in 2011 playing a guest role in hit film, Dharti. In 2013, she bagged her second lead role through Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad. She remained a seasonal actress in Punjabi cinema and made her second comeback through Singh v/s Kaur, a complete comedy film. She also appeared in the promotional Song "Tere Darshan Di" of Taur Mittran Di one year back.

As a Punjabi actress, she is best known for her roles in Taur Mittran Di (2012), Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad (2013), Dharti (2011) and Mitti Wajaan Maardi (2007). Japji Khaira married actor Jasprem Dhillon in 2013 and is currently settled with her marriage life. Shopping and singing are her favourite hobbies, and Malai Kofta & Veg-Roll are her favourite dishes. Blue and pink are her favourite colours.
