Jangiri Madhumitha Biography 
Jangiri Madhumitha is a noted comedian and character artist associated with Tamil television and cinema. She started her professional career as an actress through television and later moved to big screen. She made her film debut with the comedy blockbuster Oru Kal Oru Kannadi in 2012, where she played the second lead and she was paired with comedian, Santhanam. Udhayanidhi Stalin and Hansika Motwani played the pivot roles in the movie, directed by M. Rajesh and distributed by Red Giant Movies. ‘Jangiri’ tag got added to her name after this movie – the character played by Madhumitha. Since then she is regular in Tamil movies.
Madhumitha started her career with Vijay TV’s comedy series “Lollu Sabha”, where she established as a leading comedian of the industry. Each episode of the show spoofed popular Tamil films or serials, which entertained audience a lot. Through her enthusiastic and charming style, she played her role with perfection. It was followed by her big break to big screen through “Oru Kal Oru Kannadi”, where she was paired with Santhanam. Her role as Jangiri helped her to bag Vikatan Best Actress comedy role award 2012. Kan Pesum Vaarthaigal directed by Balaji was her next release.
Next year she appeared as Baby in Gopul P S comedy film, “Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara”, which bagged her Vikatan Best Actress comedy role award for the second year consecutively. By that time Madhumitha became a busy actress on big screen as well as small screen. Some of her noted performances on television include - ”Maama Maple”, “Akko”, “Machan”, ”Pondatti Thevai” and “Azhagi”. Mirattal, Attakathi, Kan Pesum Vaarthaigal, Jilla etc are some of her film roles. She played a female cop in Mohanlal starrer – Jilla.
