Indrani Mukerjea Biography 
Indrani Mukerjea daughter of Upendra Kumar Bora and Durga Rani Bora was born in Guwahati in 1972. Parents named her Pori and she finished her schooling in Guwahati (the then Gouhati) and later went to Shilong to join famous Lady Keane College for further studies. At the age of 24 she found her match in Siddarth Das and had a daughter in 1987 and a son in 1988, Sheena and Mikhail. Indrani moved to Kolkata for further studies leaving her kids behind with her parents and joined comuter classes.
Incidentally, in Kolkata she married Sanjee Khanna in 1993 and had another daughter four years later. The couple along with their four years old daughter moved to Mumbai in 2001. But that was not the end of Indrani’s story. She found another gentleman Mr. Peter Mukerjea and moved with him in a live-in relation while still awaiting her divorce from Sanjeev Khanna and then finally married Peter in 2003.
Indrani Mukerjea started a Private Limited company INX recruitment in Kolkata in 1996 but when she moved to Mumbai her company worked for Reliance Industries mainly. Her firm was also hired by STAR India, the famous TV Channel. Later she found a partner in Switzerland-based Company IMD International Search Group that appointed Indrani as its regional director for Asia Pacific region.
Incidentally in 2008, she was named as one of 50 Women to Watch by The Wall Street Journal also The North India Union (Uttar Bhartiya Mahasang, an organization awarded Indrani Mukerjea with the title of Uttar Ratna for her "outstanding work in the art, media and broadcasting sector.
She came into limelight for the charges of murdering her daughter Sheena three years ago and currently was in jail after CBI named her as an accused until yesterday but now rushed to hospital for overdose of medicines and in a critical situation.
