Inder Kumar Biography

Inder Kumar is a model turned Bollywood actor who works as leading hero as well as supporting character. He has also done powerfully a few villain roles. As a romantic hero, his roles in Masoom (1996) and Ghoonghat (1997) are remembered most. Despite having good looks and physique he couldn’t survive in Bollywood as the leading hero and later began to play roles of supporting actor. Among his supporting roles, most memorable ones are negative role in Salman Khan, Diya Mirza and Sushmita Sen starrer Tum ko bhula na payenge in 2002 and Kahi pyar na ho gaaye (2000) as Rani Mukherjee’s fiancée. This movie also starred Salman Khan in leading role and Raveena Tandon in supporting role.  As a leading actor, Masoom remains his solo hit.  Yet its credit was given to child artists who were featured in the song, ‘Chota bacha samachke humko’.

Inder Kumar has worked in Bollywood movies - Wanted (2009), Yeh Dooriyan (2011), Masoom (1996), Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Kahi pyar na ho gaaye (2000), Khiladiyon ka Khiladi (1996), Maa Tujhhe Salaam (2002), Ek Aur Amar Premm (2004), Aryan – Unbreakable (2006), Kaboo (2002), Kunwara (2000), Paying Guests (2009), Tirchhi Topiwale (1998), Ek Tha Dil Ek Thi Dhadkan (1997), Gaja Gamini (2000), Tum ko bhula na payenge (2002), Dandnayak (1998), Hathyaar (2002), Maseeha (2002) and Ghoonghat (1997) in different roles.

He played the role of Ajay Malhotra in Khiladiyon ka Khiladi (1996), who is the brother of Akshay Kumar. He played the role of Ranjeet, Sohail Khan’s friend in the movie Aryans, who trains along with Sohail to achieve his dream: winning the national championship. Inder Kumar played the role of Aditya in his latest release Yeh dooriyan and the movie starred Deepshikha and Kaishav Arora in the leading roles. His role in the blockbuster hit of Salman Khan, Wanted needs special mention. He played the role of Ajay in the movie who is misinterpreted as Police officer and killed by villain Prakash Raj.

He played a full-fledged villain’s role in Salman Khan’s movie Tum ko bhula na payenge. This movie handled suspense till its climax and the hero Salman Khan is in quest of his identity, finding at last that his dearest friend is behind the mystery, the role being played by Inder Kumar.  

Ishaa Koppikar was previously linked with Inder Kumar. But they broke the relationship and very soon Inder Kumar married a non-industry girl.  But Inder Kumar is in news due to his family problems.
