Hemanth Menon Biography

Hemanth Menon is an upcoming actor of Malayalam cinema and he appears in lead roles as well as supporting roles. He gained attention through commercial hits - Doctor Love (2011) and Ordinary (2012), where he played second lead to Kunchacko Boban. He came to limelight when he was paired opposite Shamna Kasim in the remake of Chattakari (Julie in Hindi), another soft porn movie of 1970’s following the successful remake of Rathinirvedham of 1977. He was also seen in supporting role in critically acclaimed movie, Ayalum Njanum Thammil. Chapters, Thomson villa and Tourist Home are his other releases. He played lead role in Tourist home, which included a long star cast of about 40 actors.

Hemanth was born as Vineeth Suresh in 19 April 1989 at Tirur, Kerala to Suresh Kumar and Usha. He studied at FMEM HS Tirur & PKMM HSS Edarikode and completed B. Tech from College of Engineering, Vadakara, an affiliated college of CUSAT. Hemanth was s singer during college days and was not at all interested in acting. He was introduced to Fazil by Rajan Joseph for his next movie. Fazil was planning to make the movie, Living together with a set of new actors and it was his directorial venture after a long break from the industry. Hemanth was casted in the main hero role opposite Sreelekha and Sreejith and Jinoop as supporting actors. It was the debut movie of all these 4 actors. However the much hyped movie failed to give an impact among audience.  

However his next releases Doctor Love (2011) and Ordinary (2012) marked his successful beginning in Malayalam film industry. He played lead role in Chattakari. But he didn’t have to do much in this movie, as it was a female oriented movie. It was a flop too. After a series of supporting roles, he is being offered lead roles.
