Hebah Patel Biography

Hebah Patel is a south Indian film actress who shot to fame after playing female lead in Telugu blockbuster Kumari 21F, released in 2015. She was paired with the budding actor, Raj Tarun for the role. Patel has appeared in Kannada and Tamil language films, apart from Telugu. She belongs to Mumbai. Kannada film Adyaksha was her first release as her first signed project, Thirumanam Enum Nikkah got delayed.

Hebah Patel was born on 6th January 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Thirumanam Enum Nikkah (2014) was her first movie. The movie released in Tamil received negative response and was a box office failure. She shared screen space with Jai and Nazriya Nazim for the movie. Same year her first Kannada film was released. The movie was titled – Adyaksha, where Hebah was paired with Sharan for the lead role. Adyaksha was a remake of the Tamil film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and the comedy received good response from critics. Same year her debut Telugu film - Ala Ela was also released. It was a small-budget film. Though the movie slowly started at box office, mouth-to-mouth publicity turned Ala Ela to a super hit. Thus she made her debut to Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries in the same year – 2014.

Kumari 21F, released in 2015 is her most successful film up-to-date. Her role as a struggling model was well-praised by critics and Kumari 21F was one of the biggest hits of year 2015. Tamil film Chennai Singapore (2016) is her upcoming film, where she is to play the lead role. She did a ramp show for MTV which opened her doors to cinema and she completed her education before starting her career, as wished by her parents. She focused on south Indian films.
