Hasmukh Adhia Biography
Hasmukh Adhia is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1981 batch belonging to Gujarat cadre, working as Revenue Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Born on November 3rd 1958 in Gujarat he can speak and write Hindi, Guajarati and English. Hasmukh Adhia is very fond of writing and he writes regular columns on spirituality in newspapers different newspapers like Times of India and dna.
He has been appointed Financial Services Secretary, Ministry of Finance of Government of India. Before he was appointed to the post of Revenue secretary he was working as Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. He feels that being on the path of spirituality and he is fully convinced fully that real happiness comes only through spiritual wisdom.
As Secretary, Financial Services, he is better known for his new strategies in the Modi Government especially for banking reforms. He is responsible for introducing the schemes namely "Gyan Sangam" and "Indra Dhanush" along with social security schemes of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna, Jivan Jyoti Bima Yojna and Atal Pension Yojana. He is alos the brain behind the scheme of micro-financing of Mudra.
