Harish Raghavendra Biography 
Harish Raghavendra is an Indian vocalist, actor and playback singer from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Harish has sung numerous chartbuster hits for Tamil cinema. "Minsaram En Meedhu" of Run, Sakkarai Nilave from Youth, "Manasukulle Dhaagam" of Autograph, "Chennai Senthamizh" of M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, "Desingu Raja" of Dum Dum Dum, Devathayai Kanden from Kadhal Kondein and Hey Azhagiya Theeyee from Minnale are among his top rated chartbuster hits. He received a Filmfare nomination for best playback singer for the song "Nenje Nenje" from Ayan. His voice has been frequently used for actors, Vijay and Madhavan. 2003 thriller movie, Vikadan marked his acting debut. He played parallel lead role aside its director, Arun Pandian in this movie. He has also appeared in one more movie – Thirupathi in 2006, playing a charcter role.
He was born in Coimbatore in 1976. He started his singing career at the age of 18 with a Telugu movie - Panjaram. 'Vaa Saghi' for the movie Arasiyal marked his successful career in Tamil and later he went on to become one of the top rated playback singers of the industry since 2000s. He took a break from music industry to complete his studies. He completed graduation from Vivekananda College and Masters in Mass Communication & Journalism. He also studied Software engineering. He returned to singing field with Bharathi, composed by Ilaiyaraja which proved to be a big break to the industry. The song was Nirpadhuve Nadapadhuve, which was a huge hit.
It was followed by the chartbuster song of Minnale, Hey Azhagiya Theeyee composed by Harris Jayaraj. There was no turning back after that. He has sung more than 4000 songs for more than 200 movies and has worked with almost all leading music directors of Tamil film industry like Yuvan Shankar Raja, Srikanth Deva, Vidyasagar, D. Imman, Deva, Vijay Antony, S. Thamman and Harris Jayaraj.
