Hariharan SA Biography 
Hariharan S. A is a very popular TV anchor associated with Tamil and Hindi television industry. He currently serves as Deputy News Editor of Republic TV since May 2017. Hariharan was earlier associated with Thanthi TV, where he served as the Senior Anchor and Deputy Assignment Editor. Thanthi TV is a prominent news channel in Tamil language and Hariharan, a leading Tamil anchor. Arnab was impressed with Hariharan’s way of presenting the news with a tinge of South lingo, and that was the reason why he was invited to English news network, neglecting the limitation of his Tamil accent.
Hariharan served as among the members of the Channel’s Core Editorial group and also the Lead Anchor of the Channel’s News Desk before he moved to Republic in 2017. He played a key role in covering high profile and momentous events of National and State importance for the channel. In 2017 he was roped by Arnab Goswami for his new National and Global Media Broadcast and Digital venture, Republic and Hariharan was invited to present news. He relocated to Mumbai from Chennai with his new assignment.
Chandrasekharan and Rangaraj Pandey are his mentors in this field, and he earned real fame and recognition as a Tamil anchor. Hariharan is credited to encounter face to face with many political leaders and the biggest names in current affairs in a short time of just 3 years. Some of the celebrity names include General Pervez Musharraf, Mahinda Rajapaksa, Ranil Wickremesinghe, Hina Rabbani Khar, Mangala Samaraweera, Navi Pillay, Anwar Ibrahim, Stephane Dujjaric, Rajitha Senaratne, Julian Braithwaite, Syed Akbarrudin, Silvya Cartwright, P.Chidambaram, M.Venkaiah Naidu and Sujatha Singh.
Hariharan was born in Chennai in 1988. His childhood was spent in his hometown itself. He completed a UG course in Visual Communication, and then went on to major in Journalism and Communication. By the time he finished his college studies, he had a basic knowledge of anchoring. His first job as an anchor was Makkal TV, where he conducted live shows. Later he shifted to Thanthi TV with a 90-minute show called Ayutha Ezhuthu. He hosted the show asideits editor Rangaraj Pandey and it was one of the most popular Tamil news shows that time. Within a short span he became a prominent anchor of Thanthi TV, and the rest, as they say ‘is history’.
