Hanuma Vihari Biography

Hanuma Vihari is an Indian cricketer who plays in the India U19 team. He is a right handed batsman and right arm off break bowler. He was a part of the U19 team that won the world cup.

 

Hanuma Vihari was born on 13th October 1993 in Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh. His full name is Gade Hanuma Vihari. He lost his father when he was young and was brought up by his mother Vijayalakshmi. He completed his schooling at St. Andrews School and was trained by John Manoj at St. John’s Coaching Foundation in Secunderabad. He is employed in Andhra Bank.

 

He is a fan of Sachin Tendulkar. He got strenuous training at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore by the NCA fielding coach R. Sridhar. Hanuma Vihari is a middle order batsman and he has scored 179 runs from five innings in six matches with an average of 44.75. He has crucial role in taking India U19 to the victory ladder in the World Cup finals. The Hyderabad Cricket Association had announced a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh to reward his talented performance.
