Gopimohan Biography

Gopimohan is a screenwriter and story writer associated with Telugu film industry. He has also assisted many directors in screenplay for many successful ventures. Loukyam, Santosham, Venky, Mr & Mrs Sailaja Krishnamurthy, SriLakshyam, Swagatam, Jhummandi Naadam, Dhenikaina, Ready, Ashok, Dhee, Dubai Seenu, Dookudu, Greeku Veerudu and Doosukeltha are some of his screenplays. He owns the experience of assisting many leading film directors in writing scripts for more than 10 years. Some of those leading names include - Dasaradh, Sreenu Vytla, Surender Reddy, Teja, G.Nageswara Reddy, N. Shankar and Teja. Vamsi and Nuvvu Nenu are his co-written scripts which turned out to be blockbusters.

His full name is Pinnamaneni Gopi Mohan born on 1 July 1974 in Gudivada, Andra Pradesh. He completed Engineering. Yet his fascination to Ram Gopal Varma movies prompted him to join film line. He dreamt to become a film director. He started his film career assisting N. Shankar in the direction department for the 1999 Telugu film Yamajathakudu. The following year, he assisted B. Gopal for Vamsi. In 2001, he co-scripted and worked as an assistant director of Teja for the movie Nuvvu Nenu, which turned out to be a blockbuster. It was followed by super hit ‘Santhosham’ and there was no turning back after that. He is the storywriter of ‘Ready’ which was later made into a Bollywood film with Salman Khan and Asin.

Gopimohan is associated with Dasarath, Kona Venkat and Srinu Vaitla and has delivered super hits like Ready, King, Namo Venkatesa, Dookudu, Baadshah, Santosham, Venky, Dhee and Lakshyam among others to his credit. He is one among those successful screenwriters of the industry who is getting solo credits for penning screenplay for films. Now he is planning to direct movies.
