Gayathri Suresh Biography

Gayathri Suresh is a model and Malayalam film actress who played female lead in 2015 Onam release - Jamna Pyari. She was paired opposite Kunchacko Boban and the movie which received positive reviews from critics was a commercial success as well. A model, Gayathri is Miss Kerala 2014. She is currently working in South Indian Bank, Thrissur. Seematti Managing Director Beena Kannan as her role model and she dreams to become an entrepreneur.

 

Gayathri Suresh was born in Thrissur in 1992 to Suresh Kumar and Rekha. She is a professional singer and a trained dancer and performs both. She is interested in modelling too. She participated in various competitions conducted in her school.  After graduation, she got a job at Federal Bank and later interested in the field, she took an MBA degree. She participated in Miss Kerala 2014 contest. She was selected from 300 entries, reached final 22 and to the grand finale. 22 candidates walked through the ramp undergoing a 5 day grooming session. Gayathri was crowned for Miss Kerala 2014 beauty pageant. While grooming to participate in the contest, her name was suggested to Kunchacko Boban by a friend. Later the film director Thomas Sebastian approached her giving the role.

 

As she was into the modelling field she received many offers before, though accepted Jamna Pyari first. Jamna Pyari is a comedy entertainer. Nothing interested her earlier. Gayathri played a girl-next-door character in the film. As she is a banking employee and never wanted to quit her job, she took a leave for 50 days for film shooting. The movie also starred Aju Varghese, Neeraj Madhav, Renji Panicker, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anumol, Muthumani and Roja.
