Gaurav Chanana, now known as Rhehan Malliek is a film and television actor. He is a successful model too. He appeared is the popular music video, Chamak Cham Cham (2000) aside Rimi Sen, sung by Yesudas. As a Bollywood actor, his best known role is the lead role of Akash in Ishkq in Paris (2013), where he worked aside Preity Zinta. This movie marked the comeback of actress Preity Zinta after 4 years, though it bombed at box office after a delayed release. He made his film debut with Woh Tera Naam Tha in 2004 and has also appeared in supporting roles in Kajra re and Zinda. As a television actor, he is best known for the lead role in ‘Sajeevani’ where he played the protagonist role of Dr. Rahul Mehra. Yehi to Hai Woh on Star One and Rishtonki Dor on Sony TV are other noted works.

Gaurav Chanana’s first experience is acting was while he was studying in class eleven when he got opportunity to act in a play. Since then, he dreamt to become an actor. He started his career as a model before reaching film and television industry. The popular music video, Chamak Cham Cham (2000) was the real breakthrough, which gave him a promising career ahead. He is better known the lead role played in television series, Sanjivani.

He got the lead role of Ishq in Paris through auditions. With the movie, Ishkq in Paris he changed his original name to Rhehan Malliek. He changed his name as he felt that it’s common. For one reason or other, including the producer’s father’s death the film got delayed. Though the movie got mixed response from critics, it bombed at box office.
