Farhan Khan Biography

Farhan Khan is a successful young actor associated with Hindi television network. He is best known for playing a brief role in Sony TV's Chhanchhan. He was also featured in the show, Yeh Aashique Hai on Bindaas. His brother Tabrez Khan is a director of TV shows like Bhagyavidhaata. His older brother and mother are both writers. His uncle Shakil Khan is a producer who also makes documentary films. Farhan is a successful model and a theatre artist too. Farhan is widely regarded as a promising young actor of Hindi television scene.

Farhan was born in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh on May 6, 1983. He was born into a family with strong artistic background. His father has produced a few films, television and documentaries, and his mother has written TV scripts. For the same reason Farhan got inclined towards television. His brother Tabrez Khan is a director of TV soaps. A professional model, Farhan has a strong theatre background. He was an athlete during his academic years, and once he dreamt to represent India at Olympics. He was a four-time Mumbai University record holder and has played till state level championships. He later took modelling as his profession. Currently he is doing LLB and wants to take Master’s and PhD in Philosophy.

He made his television debut through Chaanchhan opposite Sanaya Irani. He was casted as the lead actor for the show. However he was replaced by Anuj Sachdeva very soon and this replacement made headlines. Then he was seen in the youth oriented show - Yeh Aashique Hai on Bindaas. Purely traditional, he believes in the rituals of marriage than a live-in relationship and feels that love is life and sex is natural.
