Faisal Khan Biography

Faisal Khan is a Bollywood actor and younger brother of Aamir Khan. His father Tahir Hussain was a producer and his uncle Nasir Hussain was a leading director of Bollywood during 60’s and 70’s who gave the biggest movies to Asha Parekh’s career like Teesri manzil, Caravan, Pyar ka mausam and Baharom ke sapne.

Faisal Khan was born on 1 September 1966. Similar to his elder brother Aamir Khan, he started his career in a child artist through his uncle Nasir Hussain’s movie. His debut movie was Pyar ka mausam where he played the childhood part of Shashi Kapoor. In 1988, he appeared on silver screen once again for Aamir Khan’s blockbuster hit – Qayamat se qayamat tak. He played a gang member’s role – a negative shaded role though minute. He did a bit part in one more movie of his elder brother – Jo jeeta wohi Sikander in 1992.

Similar to many film makers and actions, Tahir Hussain launched his son in Madhosh in the year 1994. Anjali Jathar was the leading actress and this movie failed to make an impact, flopped terribly at box office. But its music score was appreciated. After 6 years he made a comeback with the movie aside his brother Aamir Khan in Mela. In this movie, he played full-fledged role. But the movie was a big flop. Except its songs, nothing was noticed. It was one of the biggest flops of Aamir Khan in his career and the most disaster movie released in the year 2000.  Faisal played the role of a truck driver Shankar who is the best friend of Kishan (Aamir Khan) in this movie. Twinkle Khanna played leading actress. He tried his luck in B-grade movies also, again it resulted in failure. Faisal Khan has worked in one television serial – Aandhi in 2003 where he reprised the role played by Rajesh Khanna in Kati Patang.

Faisal appeared in news once again when Faisal Khan accused him of captivating him in the house and forcefully giving him pills regarding him as mentally sick.  Later Faisal got admitted to a hospital for psychological treatment in 2004. Later the case reached the court. Faisal was declared absolutely normal and his custody was given to his father.
