Drishya Raghunath Biography 
Drishya Raghunath is a young actress associated with Malayalam cinema. She made her acting debut with the Malayalam film ‘Happy Wedding’ where she played the lead role, Drishya. This low budget film released in 2016 emerged as a sleeper hit. She was paired with Siju Wilson for this film. Post success of her debut flick, the actress was showered with multiple film offers. But the young actress has decided to complete her education first before taking movies as a serious career. Matchbox is her recent release. The movie got released in 2017.
Drishya Raghunath hails from Thrissur, Kerala. She was a Plus-two student at IES Chittilappilly when she made her film debut through ‘Happy Wedding’ in 2017. Her younger brother Dilrag is studying in Sree Durgavilasam School Peramangalam, Thrissur. Drishya is trained in classical dance forms, and she is associated with cultural events since younger days. She is interested in mono act too. Her father Raghunath works as a chef in Muscat while her mother Divya Raghunath is a homemaker. Drishya completed her primary education in Muscat, and moved to Thrissur while studying 7th standard.
Drishya bagged her debut role for director Omar’s debut film, Happy Wedding in 2016 through an audition. She was a school student then. The movie had a bunch of young artists and Drishya was one among those. Though her character appears in the second half of the film, she essayed a very important role. Most of her scenes were pictured as a bus journey from Ernakulam to Thrissur, and how romance blooms between the lead actors. In fact most the artists of the films including Drishya who debut with this flick hail from Thrissur.
Drishya’s father Raghunath and director Omar Lulu were childhood friends, and one of her pictures viewed by the director proved to be the turning point of Drishya’s life. Her second film titled Match Box, is directed by debutant Sivaram Mony.
