Disha Patani Biography

Disha Patani is a successful model and a newcomer actress. She made her film debut in the year 2015 with the Telugu film – Loafer and is to make her Bollywood debut with the much awaited movie of 2016 - MS Dhoni: The Untold story, a biopic on Indian cricketer and skipper M. S. Dhoni, where she is to play the supporting role of Dhoni’s ex-girlfriend. Dhoni’s role is being played by Sushant Rajput Singh. Disha is rumoured to be the girlfriend of Tiger Shroff, her co-actor of second signed Bollywood project – Baaghi.

Disha is a native of Bariley. She started her career as a model. She is Miss Indore 2013’s first runner-up. She also appeared in several TV ads. Cadbury Silk Bubbly Chocolate is one of her popular ads. In 2015 she made her film debut in lead role through Telugu film – Loafer. She was paired with Varun Tej (Nephew of Chiranjeevi and Pawan kalyan) for the title role and the movie directed by Puri Jagannadh was a box office hit. The movie received positive reviews from critics also.

In 2015, she bagged her first Bollywood role in Neeraj Pandey's MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, one of the most awaited sports-biopic of 2016. Kiara Advani has been roped in to play Dhoni's wife Sakshi while Disha plays an ex-girlfriend of Sushant. The producers were looking out for a young and vivacious girl, and her role indeed acts as a catalyst of the film. She has also signed as the lead heroine of Tiger Shroff’s next movie - Baaghi. The duo has been spotted together at Bandra and they go to same gym for work out.
