Celina Jaitley Biography 
Celina Jaitley is an Indian actress and former model. She works in Hindi films. She was crowned as Femina Miss India Universe in the year 2001. She was born on 24th November 1981 in Kabul in Afganistan in a Punjabi Hindu family.
Her father is V. K. Jaitley who is an army colonel and her mother is Meeta, a nurse in the Indian Army. She has one brother who is also serving in the Indian army. She wanted to become a doctor or a pilot and serve in the army. She spent her childhood days in many cities as her father had to travel all over India. So she studied at a dozen different schools.
When her family was in Lucknow she studied at City Montessori School and then studied at Berhampur in Orissa. She spent her college days in Kolkatta in West Bengal. She studied degree in Commerce in Indira Gandhi National Open University. She worked in a cell phone company for a short period of time after her graduation. In January 2011 she announced that she was engaged to Dubai based Austrian businessman and hotelier, Peter Haag.
She was crowned the title of Femina Miss India Universe in 2001. She also won Miss Margo Beautiful Skin, Indiatimes Surfer’s Choice, and MTV’s Most Wanted Award. In the Miss Universe 2001 she ended up as the 4th Runner Up.
Her debut film was Janasheen in 2003 by Feroz Khan. She acted in the international movie Love Has No Language in 2007 in New Zealand. She played the role of Persian princess in the film Quest of Scheherzade with the actors Sean Connery and Orlando Bloom. This film is based on the legend, Arabian Nights and this was directed by Ken Khan.
She is the brand ambassador of Egyptian tourism and Diya Diamond Jewelry. She worked in many pop albums that include Zara Nazron Se Kehdo. She worked for the rights of the LGBT community and is the supporter of the Gay Rights Movement in India.
