Blaaze Biography 
Blaaze is a rap artist and a popular playback singer. His full name is Lakshmi Narasimha Vijaya Rajagopala Seshadri Sharma Rajesh Raman, born on October 15, 1975 in Chennai. He was educated at England. As a singer, he has been mostly associated with A. R. Rahman. In 2008, he was selected as MTV Youth Icon. He sang the song "Gangsta Blues" for Slumdog Millionaire, academy award winning movie. Blaaze's debut album was India's first real hip hop - 'Protest' album.
Blaaze was brought up in Zambia. He was graduated from Columbia College Hollywood, United States. His father is an architect. Blaaze did his first stage performance at the age of 9. He started his music career at the age of 16 and performed in Zambia's first ever music video ‘Advice 4 Livin' with the Zambian national broadcasting corporation. In 2002, he got his break to Indian playback singing through the rap song of Baba. Like many singers, he was also a discovery of none other than Rahman. Later he sang for Rahman’s Tamil movies - Kangalal Kaidhu Sei, Boys, Enakku 20 Unakku 18, New, Aayutha Ezhuthu and Anbe Aaruyire. He was introduced to Hindi by Rahman with Saathiya in 2002, followed by Yuva, Rang de Basanti and Swades. He has also written lyrics for Rahman’s compositions for Hindi movies, Kisna and Tehzeeb.
His rap talent was used by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for Bunti aur bubli. Song was ‘B N B’. Yuvan Shankar Raja, Harris Jayaraj and Deva have also made use of his singing talents. His top songs are "Hosanna" for Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, title track of Delhi-6, "Hey Salaa" for Aegan and Title track of Sivaji: The boss. He received Star Music Vijay Awards for the song ‘Hosanna’, one of his top songs till now. In January 2012, he made a remixed version of ‘Why dis kolaveri’ rap song for Dhanush and team.
