Bhairavi Raichura Biography

Bhairavi Raichura is a successful actress associated with Hindi television industry. A popular actress, Ek Raja Ek Rani, Hum Paanch, Balika Vadhu and Sasural Genda Phool are among her noted roles which earned her fame and popularity. She played lead role of a simple girl Shweta Mehta opposite Shekhar Suman in the popular show Ek Raja Ek Rani aired on DD Metro in 1996. This particular show made her a household name among TV audience and later she played several powerful character roles on Indian mini screen. She started her television career with the mythological series on Doordarshan –Krishna in 1996.  

She was born on 31 December 1968. She hails from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Her education was done at Gujarat and Mumbai, and later she shifted her base to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting field. She got her first break through Balaji Telefilms - Hum Paanch. In this cult classic serial aired on Doordarshan she played the role of Kajal Bhai. There was no turning back and she has completed two decades in Indian television industry. She has also acted in one Gujarati series, Sapthapadi, which was well received by audience.

Woh Rehne waali Mehlon Ki as Janki, Sasural Genda Phool as Rajni Inder Kashyap, Astiva - Ek Prem Kahani as Urmila Awasthi, Yes Boss as Kavita Verma, Gutur Gu as Sweety, Ek Raja ek Rani as Shweta Mehra, Balika Vadhuas Bhagwati Khajaan Singh, Na Aana Is Des Meri Laado as Bhagwati etc are among her noted works till now. In 2012 she turned a television producer, in association with her friend and TV show director, Nandita Mehra. The company was named 24 Frames. Chhal-Sheh aur Maat was the first series produced under the newly floated production company.
