Benedict Taylor Biography

Benedict Taylor is a British composer and violist who is associated with contemporary music. In the recent times he has been associated with a few Bollywood films such as That Girl in Yellow Boots and Udta Punjab. Benedict Taylor is married to popular Bollywood actress Radhika Apte since 2012. Taylor is a leading figure of contemporary composition, modern string performance & improvised music in US and UK music industry. Throughout his career he has worked with many leading international artists across the globe. Taylor was born on March 16, 1982 in Britain into an ordinary family. He earned name and fame as a violinist. He has been associated with diverse works of music. His music albums have made an impact on the industry, and he is one of the successful musicians in the international scene at present. He is known to be a good stage performer too, whose height has attributed a lot to his success as a performer. He completed his graduation as a violist from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2004. Soon after his graduation he released his first album which was a major hit.

 

His relationship with Radhika Apte has raised many eyebrows. But he didn’t care any and married her in 2012. His name has been often confused with English actor with the same name. Taylor composed the music of the Indian film, That Girl in Yellow Boots aside Naren Chandavarkar. Most recently he scored background music for the controversial Bollywood film - Udta Punjab, directed by Abhishek Chaubey.
