Bela Shende Biography 
Bela Shende is a Bollywood playback singer who sings Marathi film songs as well. The song "Khurkhura" from the Marathi film Tuhya Dharma Koncha earned her National award for best playback singer in the year 2014. She has sung many popular songs in Bollywood like "Mann Mohana" from the film Jodhaa Akbar, title track of Ehsaas and "Su Che" and "Koi Jaane na" from the film What's Your Raashee? "Wajle Ki Baara" and "Apsara Aali" from Natarang and "Aaj Mhare Ghar Pawana" of Bala Gandharva are her popular Marathi film songs. She has also sung for Urdu and Tamil movies also. 'Sahuj Tujhi Gaath Pade' is her latest Marathi album. She has also sung for a few Hindi albums.
At the age of 16, she won the National Award for the TVS Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Mega Final, one of the most recognised musical shows of Indian television. It was the turning point of her singing career. She started her playback singing career in the early 2000’s and has rendered her voice for Bollywood movies like Paheli, Tera Mera Saath Rahe, Mirch, Besharam, Horn Ok Please, Rajjo, Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal and We Are Family. Tera Mera Saath Rahe and Ehsaas marked her debut as a playback singer.
Her grandmother, Kusum Shende is a renowned stage artist and vocalist of Kirana gharana, from whom Bele learnt primary lessons of music. She was attached to music at a younger age. Now also she continues learning music as well as Urdu language from her father so that she could sing Urdu songs easily. Her sister Sawani Shende is also a reputed classical singer from whom she learns classical music at present. Since teens she has performed in many foreign countries like US and Arab countries.
