Ashlesha Sawant Biography 
Ashlesha Sawant is a model and actress associated with Hindi entertainment industry. She appears in Hindi soaps, and noted for her roles in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara as Preeti Sameer Deshpande, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand as Anjali Rohit Sharma and Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar as Tara. Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay was her debut serial. She has been associated with Ekta Kapoor shows such as Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi during her early days in Hindi soaps. In fact her break to Hindi soaps was given by Balaji films. She is married to her co-star Sandeep Baswana.
Ashlesha sawant hails from Pune, Maharashtra. She was born on March 14, 1982. She graduated in Commerce before her entry to small screen. She started her modelling at Pune when she was studying in class 12. She also took training to participate in Gladrags contest. During that time she attended the auditions of Ekta Kapoor's Kya Haadsa Kya Haqeeqat and got selected for a supporting role. Thus she shifted to Mumbai, after completing graduation. However the shooting didn’t take off and Ekta Kapoor gave her a small role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Rishab Bajaj's Associate and this series marked Ashlesha’s acting debut on small screen.
Very soon Ekta Kapoor casted her in the popular shows - Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus) and Kammal (Zee TV), which gave her a major break to her acting career. Very soon she received offers from other production houses as well, mostly in the supporting roles and she grabbed most of them. Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar are her noted roles in the recent times. In fact Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara was her major break.
