Aryeman Ramsay Biography

Aryeman Ramsay, simply known as Aryeman is a Bollywood actor and social activist. He is the son of famous film producer Keshu. He made his acting debut through 2006 movie, Family: Ties of Blood (2006) for which he was nominated a Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. He is best remembered for the roles he played in movies - Good Luck! (2008) and Ek Aadat (2010). Good Luck! Is his maiden venture as the lead actor and he was paired with Sayali Bhagat in this movie. Lucky Ali and Ranvir Shorey played pivot roles in this movie. Ramsay was nominated at Lajja Award for Best Actor for his performance. But the movie was tagged as one of the disasters of the year. Tom Dick and Harry Rock Again – sequel of Tom Dick and Harry has been announced and Ramsay is to play parallel lead role in this movie.

 

He was born in Delhi on 22 August 1980. He has worked as a child artist for a few movies in the early 1990s. He appeared in 1991 Akshay Kumar movie – Saugandh. He started off by socializing in game advertisements and made his film debut in 2006 movie, Family: Ties of Blood which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Bhoomika Chawla in lead roles. Though the movie included a good star cast, Ramsay’s role as Akshay Kumar’s younger brother Aryan got noticed and he was nominated at Filmfare awards for best debut actor for his award-winning performance.

 

Good luck in 2008 marked his debut as a solo hero. The movie received negative response from critics and was a box office failure. Ek Adalat in 2010 was his next movie, which received critics’ and box office success. He played the role of young Rajesh khanna in Riyasat (2014), India’s first super star’s last released movie.
