Arjunan Biography

Arjunan is a noted south Indian actor known for supporting roles. He is mostly concentrated to Tamil films. Balaji Mohan’s Tamil film - Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi is his most noted film role, where he portrayed the role of a college boy – Shiva. Arjunan has proved himself to be a comedy actor as well.   Suseendran's Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer and Balaji Mohan's next bilingual Vaayai Moodi Pesavum need special mention.

His full name is Arjunan Nandakumar, born on 8 August 1986 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He made his film debut through his breakthrough performance in Balaji Mohan’s debut Tamil film - Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi. A remake of a short film, this simple and beautiful film was released in Tamil and Telugu languages and was declared a hit. Arjunan portrayed the role of a hopeless college romantic, which caught audience’s attention. He was praised for the role. He also played the role of an assistant director for the movie. Since then he has been regularly featured in Balaji Mohan’s movies, including the bilingual Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, where he excelled in his role as a comic actor.

Telugu film - Jabardasth (2013) was his second released film and this movie marked his Telugu debut. He played a supporting role ‘Jai’ in Suseendran's Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer, which gathered positive cheers from critics and audience alike. Bramman, Darling 2, Jinn, Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram (Vaayai Moodi Pesavum), Arima Nambi, Yaan and Kappal are his other releases till now. This budding actor has a handful of films lined for release and a promising career ahead. Some of his upcoming films are – Nambiar, Maane Thaene Paeye and Andha 60 Naatkal.
