Arjun Sasi Biography 
Arjun Sasi is an Indian singer who was a member of the popular band of early 2000s – S5. The other members were Benny Dayal, Anaitha Nair, Suvi Suresh and Bhargavi Pillai. The band was the winner of the first SS Music voice hunt competition and later became the first South Indian Pop Band, to be signed with Sony BMG. Their single album, ‘Isai’ with 8 songs was released in 2005. Four of the five band members were of Malayali origins. After one year of contract, the band members split and pursued their individual music journey. Arjun Sasi is a successful playback singer right now, who is also known as a lyricist, film actor and Rapper. He played lead role in the Malayalam film – Out of Syllabus.
He originally belongs to Kochi, Kerala. He took his Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from MKCE, Karur. Sasi got into music field through the musical S5, a musical band formed after the talent hunt show of SS Music and continued his career as a performer on stage. The band also performed for Jayaraj's Malayalam film `By the People'. Its music was composed by Pravin Mani, one of the band members. Sasi also joined hands with Vineeth Srinivasan and Shaan Rahman for Malayalam album - Coffee @ MG Road which became a super hit instantly.
As a successful playback singer, some of his popular songs are - Munpe munpe of Ben Johnson, Paattonnu paadan of Kilukkam Kilukilukkam, Prayer song of Notebook, Title track of Yes Your Honour etc. He has rendered his voice for a few songs for Tamil films, mostly for Vidyasagar. He sang the title track of Bollywood movie, Ramji Londonwale starring Madhavan. His father, M. Sasidhara Menon worked as a circle inspector of police of Police Telecommunications wing at Kasaragod, while his mother B.R. Girija and sister Sai Sruthi are gifted singers. Arjun has won many inter-collegiate and State-level competitions in Western music.
