Arijit Singh Biography 
Arijit Singh is the latest sensation of Bollywood with Aashique 2 Fame. He is a playback singer of Bollywood who is at the top place now singing Aashique 2 songs like Aji tum bhi ho, Tujhe jeena hai ab tere siva and Meri Aashique. He has rendered the voice to actor Aditya Roy Kapoor who plays a singing sensation of the movie. Almost all songs of this movie were sung by him for the different music directors – Mithoon, Ankit Tiwari and Jeet Ganguly. Aashique 2 is the top musical album of the year 2013 and has retained the fragrance and sensation created by his prequel in 1990. Other songs of the movie sung by him include - Chahun Main Ya Naa, Hum Mar Jayenge, Aasan Nahi Yahan and Milne Hai Mujhse Aayi. It’s better to recollect that he was a participant of Fame Gurukul, telecasted in 2005 where he finished 6th. He was one of the youngest singers of the reality show on singing.
After completing Fame Gurukul in 2005, he settled in Mumbai the following year. He had an assignment of a private album with Kumar Taurani's music company. But the album didn’t get released until 2007. But the company used to pay his remuneration. Later he refused the money and started freelancing. Later he won reality show called ‘10 ke 10 le gaye dil’ with the help of audience votes and Shankar Ehsaan Loy gave him the first break on one of their songs called "All For One" from High School Musical 2 (Vol 1) album. He also rendered his voice to the title track of a few television shows/serials of which "Hum Hai Deewane" of Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and "Dadagiri"(with Avishek Das) need special mention. He has also worked as an assistant director of Preetam who gave him a few nice songs. Music director Mithoon of Aashique fame has also used his voice nicely. Apart from Hindi films, Bengali music director Indradeep Dasgupta has also given him numerous songs.
Other top songs of Arijit are Raabta of Agent Vinod, Jhoom Jhoom Ta Hun Main of Players, Dilliwaali Girlfriend of Yeh jawani hai diwani, Kashmir Main, Tu Kanyakumari of Chennai Express, Yaariyan - (Reprise) of Cocktail, Saawali Si Raat of Barfi and Phir mohabbat of Murder.
