Arfi Lamba Biography

Arfi Lamba is a Bollywood and theater actor and film producer. He is also the co-owner of Bombay Berlin Film Production. As a film actor, he was most recent seen in Fugly which also starred Jimmy Shergill, Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh, and Kiara Advani in pivot roles. He has been a part of Oscar award winning movie, Slumdog Millionaire which happened to be his film debut too. He played the supporting role of Bardi in this legendary movie with the backdrop of Mumbai. His role in the 5-year lagged Bollywood project Prague was also well appreciated. He played supporting role aside Chandan Roy Sanyal and Elena Kazan in this 2013 romantic movie. The movie received mixed responses from critics. 2012 movie – Pollutant is another release.

Though most of the actors are known by their faces, Arfi belongs to that distinct group of actors who are recognized by talents. He has been a theater artist before entering big screen. Anjor Kaaya, Chabi, Jis Lahore Nahin Vekheya and Tere pyar mein are a few theatre productions he got associated with. He made his big screen debut through Slumdog Millionaire and took a small break from the industry.

Arfi didn't want to do cliched roles and thus found it difficult to bag a role in Bollywood. Then he had to make a long wait till he got the project, Prague. The movie got released after 5 years where he played the role of extreme character, who is either too calm or on the verge of a nervous breakdown. The movie was directed by Ashish R Shukla. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering from Thapar University.
