Aparnaa Bajpai Biography

Aparnaa Bajpai is a Tamil film actress best known for her role in the 2010 film, Easan, directed by Sasikumar. Most recently she has made Bollywood debut with a set of new actors with September 2013 release Horror Story, written byt Vikram bhatt. The movie received positive response from critics. She played the role of Maggie, one among the 7 friends who enters a haunted hotel at midnight to find the existence of ghost or similar supernatural elements.

 

Aparnaa Bajpai was born to Ramesh and Sushma Bajpai on September 4 1990 in Kanpur. She has two brothers. Aparnaa did her schooling at St.Xaviers Sr Sec School Chandigarh. Later she pursued degree from Delhi. But due to her professional assignments she took a break from college studies. Now she resides in Chennai busy with Tamil films. Actress Disha Pandey is her close friend. She has appeared in numerous television ads of which a soft drink ad with Aamir Khan needs special mention.

 

She debut Tamil films with Easan in 2010 which opened with positive reviews. She was featured opposite Vaibhav Reddy, as Reshma Shivaraj, a rich Kannada language college girl. Her next release was Karuppampatti in 2013, after 3 year break in the industry. She played lead role opposite Ajmal in this movie. Though the movie was a good attempt, couldn’t meet the expectations of critics and hence received mixed response. She debut Bollywood with Horror story for which the whole team received positive reviews. She is to debut Telugu with O Manasa that’s scheduled to get released soon.

 

Following the success of Horror Story, she has signed her next Bollywood film, Mumbai 125 KM 3D. She is to debut Malayalam with ‘Bangles’ opposite Ajmal Ameer also.
