Aparna Vinod Biography 
Aparna Vinod is a young actress associated with Malayalam cinema. She started off her film journey in 2015 playing female lead in Njan Ninnodu Koodeyundu. She was also seen in a supporting role in Asif Ali’s Kohinoor. After a couple of failures in Malayalam, she received a major break in Tamil films in 2017, and got opportunity to play a supporting role in Vijay starrer, Bhairava. The movie was directed by famous dialogue writer of Tamil cinema, Bharathan.
Aparna hails from Kakkinad of Ernakulam district, Kerala. She was born in 1996. Her father Vinod is an entrepreneur and mother Vaiga a costume designer. Her school days were spent in a boarding school of Thiruvananthapuram, but completed her SSLC from Chalakkudy. Later she completed her school education from Saraswathi Vidyalaya, Thiruvananthapuram. She is currently pursuing BSc. psychology from Thrissur.
Since younger age, she has been fascinated by movies. But acting was not her first preference then. With no formal training in acting and no godfathers from the industry, she explored acting in various ways possible. Her experiences in school drama became handy. She used to act in front of the mirror and shot videos to improve herself and correct mistakes.
She got her first film break through National Award winner Priyanandanan’s movie Njan Ninnodu Koodeyundu. She was selected for the lead role after first day auditions itself. She was paired with Vinay Forrt for her debut film. It was followed by her second flick, Kohinoor.
Kochi-based Aparna Vinod got opportunity to act in Vijay’s 60th film, and it was only her third film. It’s something like dream come true to share screen space with Vijay. One day she was called from Bharathan’s office and when she heard the narration after meeting the director, she readily accepted the role. She doesn’t want to choose roles just to survive in the industry. In fact she wants to choose roles which are really significant.
