Aparna Nair Biography

Aparna Nair is an actress of Malayalam movies who appears in supporting roles. A few of her performances include – Nivedyam, Meghatheertham, Beautiful, Mallu Singh, Thattathin Marayathu, Asuravithu, Cocktail, Run baby run and Ammanilavu. She debut Tamil in an offbeat movie - Edhuvum Nadakkum, directed by K. Mageshwaran. She has been a part of Anoop Menon’s successful scripts – Beautiful and Cocktail where she got opportunity to work with Jayasurya and Anoop Menon. Though her first movies were not big success, she tasted sweet success through her later releases like Cocktail, Thattathin Marayathu, Mumbai police, Run baby run and Mallu Singh.

Aparna Nair was born on February 24, 1988. She was active in modeling before entering movies. She was introduced to movies by film maker Lohithadas and it happened through the movie Nivedyam released in the year 2007. Before that, she has appeared in a cameo role in Notebook (2006). She had a brief role in the movie and the leading actors of the movie were Vinu Mohan and Bhama. She came to limelight when she appeared in a play where Mohanlal and Mukesh worked as leading stars. In 2009 musical Meghatheertham, she was paired opposite Manikuttan in a good length role to portray the youth of Kaviyoor Ponnamma. Though it was a good role, the movie went unnoticed.

Then she starred in a series of movies like Cocktail, Ammanilavu, Kayam, Beautiful, Hotel California, Paisa paisa, Mumbai police, Thattathin Marayathu, Mallu singh and Run baby run. Slowly she began to get noticed. She played the role of Meera in new generation script written by Anoop Menon – Beautiful.  In Kayam, she played Bala’s heroine though Swetha Menon was the highlight of the movie. She has also appeared in the short film - Oru Kutty Chodyam. She played sister’s role in Mallu Singh and Indu panicker’s role in Run Baby Run. Mohanlal was the leading star of the movie and it was well received too.
