Anvita Dutt Guptan Biography 
Anvita Dutt Guptan is a lady lyricist and story writer of Bollywood. She is a leading writer of Bollywood, mostly associated with Yash raj Films and Dharma Productions, the leading production houses of Bollywood. Before entering film world, she worked in an ad agency for 14 years and she was introduced to Bollywood by film maker Aditya Chopra as a dialogue writer. Now Anvita has carved a niche for herself and she is one of the key members of creative team of Yash Raj. Gulzar is her favourite lyricist from Bollywood.
As a lyricist, some of her notable films include – Anjana Anjani, Mere dad ki maruti, Tees maar khan, Ra. One, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Kahaani, Patiala house, I hate love stories, Tashan, Bachna e haseeno, Hey baby, Buddha hoga tera baap, Shanghai, Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, Kambaqt Ishq, Pyar impossible, Ek tha tiger, Badmash company, Student of the year and We are family. Jaane kyon of Dostana, the pretty love ballad 'Khuda jane' of Bachna e haseeno and the peppy number 'Laung da laskhara' of Patiala house are among her chartbuster songs.
She belongs to New Delhi, born in the year 1972. Her father is a retired Indian Air Force Officer. She was brought up in different military cantonments like Guwahati, Jodhpur and Saharanpur. She was in advertising field for 14 years like noted lyricist Prasoon Joshi, before writing movies. She was introduced to film field by noted dialogue writer, Rekha Nigam. She wrote for the first time for Aditya Chopra. But Shah Rukh Khan starrer Main Hoon Na, based on her story was released first.
