Anuj Saxena Biography

Anuj Saxena is a popular television actor known for working in Hindi soaps. He has debut Bollywood as a film hero as well. He gained attention through Ekta Kapoor's soap opera Kkusum, where he played the role of Abhay Kapoor. This show was successfully telecasted for more than 5 years. He debut with comedy sitcom of Doordarshan during mid-1990’s – Dekh bhai dekh (1993). In 1998, he appeared in Kora Kagaz. Yet it was through Kkusum (2001) that was aired on Sony television, he gained public attention. He debut big screen as lead hero for 2010 released movie, Chase. Paranthe Wali Gali is his upcoming movie that’s slated to get released in 2014. He plays lead hero in this movie also. He is a doctor turned actor and a business entrepreneur too, who has won many awards.

Saxena was born on 31 July 1967 in Delhi to a businessman. He is the youngest of three children. His mother is a homemaker. He did his schooling from Campion School, Delhi. He holds an MBBS degree from The Grand Medical College and Sir JJ group of hospitals. Kkussum in 2001 was his first noted appearance as a film actor. In 1990’s, he has appeared in a couple of television serials in bit roles. Later he acted in television serials like – Kumkum (2002), Saara Aakash, Kucchh Pal Saath Tumhara (2003), Prratima, Karma, Kshitij (2004), Risshton Ki Dor, Solhah Singaarr (2006), Doli Saja Ke (2007), Aasman Se Aage (2012) and Marathi serial - Devyani (2013).

He debut big screen with Chase in 2010, directed by Jag Mohan Mundhra. The movie also stared Udita Goswami, Sameer Kochar, Aditya Raj Kapoor, Tarina Patel, Rajesh Khattar and Shweta Menon.
