Anubhav Anand Biography

Anubhav Anand is an upcoming Bollywood actor who made his onscreen debut with 2009 movie, Perfect Mismatch. He played the lead hero opposite Nandana Sen in this movie. The movie also marked the togetherness of two veteran actors, Boman Irani and Anupam Kher. The film is about the love between two youngsters and how they convince their parents belonging to entirely different cultures to agree to their marriage. The movie was panned by critics as well as audience. It was an official selection to one of the top 10 International Film Festivals - Cinequest Film Festival. Anubhav is an IT professional from IBM who did his education to please his parents. But he never gave up his dreams to become an actor.

He was born in September 9, 1981 in New Delhi. Since childhood he wanted to become an actor. But his parents wanted him to achieve a secure job. So he completed IT Engineering from IBM and later took Master’s in Computer science from Clemson University, South Carolina. During this time, he joined the School of Performing Arts to study theater. He briefly worked in US as an IT professional and at the same time took acting lessons from Pittsburgh Filmmakers Institute.

He penned the script of a movie while working in US and began to search for producers to make his movie. In his opinion, though everyone says marriages happen in heaven, there are only mismatches everywhere and that’s the reason why relations become exciting. He scripted the story giving it a humour touch. Very soon he reached Mumbai and launched Xperience Film, LLC, his production company. He also took acting lessons from Roshan Taneja, before the film shooting. He played the role of a Punjabi boy who falls in love with a Gujarati girl and the whole story revolves around the clashes between two families in a comic way.
