Annie (Child Artist) Biography

Annie is a popular child Artist associated with south Indian cinema, who predominantly works in Telugu movies. She has received enough recognition through both television and films. She is a recipient of two Nandi awards given by state government for her acting skills. She received a Nandi Award for her appearance in a tele-film Trap at the age of 6 and got her second award for the television serial Gorintaku in 2010. Some of her noted film appearances include - Athidi, Stalin, Ek Niranjan, Swagatham, and Vikramarkudu. This budding actress dubs her own dialogues for movies and serials.

She was born and brought up in Hyderabad to Malayalam speaking parents. She comes from a non-filmy background. Currently she studies at Indo-English High School. Annie started her acting career at the age of 3. Till now she has acted in more than 25 films, sharing screen space with many leading actors of the industry like Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Jagapathi Babu, Gopichand, Ravi Teja, and Ram. She has also done a Bhojpuri film titled Shiva directed by Dinesh Yadav. She made her film debut through the Telugu movie - Anukokunda Oka Roju.

Her stellar performance in Rajanna (2011) as Mallamma stole everyone’s heart. Her power packed performance was one of the highlights of the film. The highly praised movie was directed by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, known as the ace story writer of Telugu film industry. Among the cine artists, Prabhas, Anushka, Kajal, Nag and Sneha are her favourites. She also loves the animated characters like Chota Bheem, Tom & Jerry and Mr. Bean. Anukokunda Oka Roju, Athidi, Mitrudu, Rajanna, Stalin and Swagatham are some of her screen appearances. She was seen in serials like Gorintaaku, Nagastram and Bandham.
