Ankush Arora Biography

Ankush Arora is a popular television actor who plays the male lead Karthik in the popular television series, Yeh Vaada Raha aired on ZEE Network. He also appeared in an episode of Bindass's popular show Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Associated with theatre since school days, television provided him the big break to acting career. He appeared in many short films and TV ads too. He won Best beta award from Zee Rishtay Awards for his performance in Yeh Vaada Raha.

Ankush was born and brought up in Delhi. He was born on 24 June 1992. His father is a businessman and mother is a homemaker. He completed graduation in Mass Communication. As he is interested in movies, he studied filmmaking. Ankush is very close to his parents and loves to take advices from them. Since school days he was associated with theatre. He started with nuked Nataks, one act plays in 2007. He gave his first audition at Delhi and later got opportunity to act in many short films. His experiences with short films gave him enough confidence to face camera.

He has also acted in a few TV commercials like Pepsi Pakistan commercial, coke Pakistan, boomer, hike messenger, Lotus white glow etc. He acted aside Fawad Khan for the Pepsi Pakistan commercial directed by Pradeep Sarkar of Parineeta fame. ‘Gustakh dil’ on Life OK was his debut television role, followed by Gumrah season 4 as lead. He also played the lead role in Yeh Vaada Raha. He is paired with Roshni Walia, who is playing the character of Survi in this daily soap. Pankaj Vishnu and Rinku Karmarkar are his favorite co-stars of the show. Started off as a 19-year old boy, he currently portrays 23-year old Karthik in the popular show. Aamir Khan is his idol and he also has a passion of singing.
