Anjana is a very popular video jockey and TV anchor associated with Tamil television network. She also conducts events for popular TV shows, concerts etc and is a popular media figure from Tamil Nadu. She is well known as popular Sun Music VJ Anjana, one of the leading music channels of Tamil television. She also hosts special programs in Sun TV, apart from audio launch of Tamil movies and corporate events for many years.

Anjana was born on 25th August, 1989 in a Tamil Hindu Family in Chennai. Her full name is Anjana Rangan. Her school and college days were spent in her hometown where she completed her schooling and graduation. She attended P. S. Senior Secondary School in Chennai. She holds a B. Tech degree from a leading Engineering college of Chennai. After completing her professional course, she moved to media industry where she started her career as a video jockey. She began her career with SUN television network and Sun TV, where she earned the nickname, VJ Anjana. She has been associated with SUN TV for more than 7 years and some of her popular shows include Freeya Vidu, Vazhthukkal and many more.

She came into limelight with the show “Neengalum Naangalum” on Sun Music. The show helped her to gain a lot of popularity and fans. Known for hosting TV shows, reality shows and events in television industry and business events of corporate sector, she is very much active in social media. Her active presence has been noticed in award events, celebrity interviews etc. Anjana was married to Tamil movie actor Chandran of Kayal fame. The couple tied the knot in 2016 in Chennai.
