Anil Mohile Biography 
Anil Mohile is one among the Marathi film composers – known by the name - Anil-Arun. Anil was a well-known arranger who worked with music composer Arun paudwal. The duo has also assisted famous Bollywood music composer R. D. Burman for many years since early 1970s. As a popular music duo of Marathi cinema, they contributed many memorable tracks to Anuradha Paudwal, Arun’s wife, who has been a leading playback singer then. Anil was a famous music arranger of 1970s and 1980s. Mohile was a permanent fixture at stage shows of the Mangeshkar sisters – Lata and Asha, in India and abroad.
Anil Mohale started off in the early 1970s got associated with another music composer cum arranger Arun paudwal. They formed the music duo - 'Anil-Arun', who composed for several Marathi films. Aali mazya ghari hi Diwali, Ashtavinayak and Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi are some of their Marathi films. The duo continued to compose songs till the death of Arun in 1991. Since early 1970s with the beginning of R. D. Burman’s career, the duo got associated with him and has assistant him in many of his memorable films.
They began with R.D for some pending projects of S. D. Burman which include - Sharmeelee and Abhimaan, and later worked for Chhupa Rustam, Jugnu, Zakhmee, Prem Nagar, Chalte Chalte, and many more. The duo continued the association with R.D throughout 1980s also. He worked as a music arranger for nearly 85 movies which include - Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Sharabi, Lekin, Don, Thodisi Bewafaii, Abhimaan and Sharmili and has worked under different music directors from R. D. Burman to Bappi Lahiri and Anand Milind. He also worked as a music arranger for some Marathi hits, apart from composing music for a few films in association with Arun.
He passed away on 1 February 2012, survived by wife and two children. His son Amar is an upcoming music composer and arranger.
