Anand Raj Anand is an Indian music director, composer, lyricist and playback singer of Bollywood. As a music director, Kaante (2002) is considered as his best composition for which he received a Filmfare nomination. His songs of Masoom, Ghunghat, Sandhya, Hote hote pyar ho gaya, Major Saab, Bichoo, Tera Mera Saath Rahen, Bandhan, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain, Jurm, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani, Ehsaas: The Feeling, Gunaah, Hadh Kar Di Aapne, Welcome, Double damaal, Champion, Musafir and Plan have become popular. He has also composed albums - Suno To Deewana Dil (Kamaal Khan), Ab Ke Baras (Sunita Rao) and Mehandi (Vibha Sharma).

Anand Raj Anand’s family belongs to jewelers. In 1992, he left his family business and reached Mumbai to pursue a career in music. His first album was “Babu Tiptop" in Time music, released in the year 1995. The hit song of the movie Krishna (1996), Jhangariya actually belongs to his hit album. His debut assignment for a movie was Masoom. Along with its music, movie was also successful, particularly the track sung by Aditya Narayan – Chota bacha samachke. The songs - Kale Libaas Mein and Tukur Tukur Dekhte Ho Kya also became successful. Success of Masoom was followed by Ghunghat, particularly the tracks – Ghunghat and Gore gore paom mein. Both these movies featured Inder Kumar as leading actor.
His other major hit songs are Maargayore of sandhya, Kehta hai pal pal of Mayor Saab, Mahi ve and Ishq samander of Kaante, Title track of Hote hote pyar ho gaya and Gunah, Zindagi mein koi of Musafir, Mujhe kuch tumse hai kehna and Title track of Hadh karde aapne, Usne kaha khemche of Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain, Teri nayana meri naynom of Bandhan and Jeevan mein jaane jaana of Bichoo.
