Amoolya is an Indian film actress who started her acting career as a child artist. She primarily focuses on Kannada film industry. She went to great heights after her successful movie Cheluvina Chittara in which she played the character of Aishwarya. She was only in her high school at that time.
She was born on 14th September 1993. She does not belong to the film industry family. She lost her father in 2009 and this was huge shock for her who was the father’s pet. Her mother’s name is Jayalakshmi. Her real name is Maulya. Her debut movie was Thimma. She studied commerce in her PUC at Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. She scored well in her academics.
She was caught up in the controversy with the director of the film Premism named Rathanraja after seeing her kissing him and there were many speculations of her marriage. This affected her and made her take a break from the film industry and concentrate in her studies.
Amoolya is a highly talented actress and has performed in many successful movies Chandu, Ekaangi, Kallarali Hoovaagi and Thamma to name a few. The film director S. Narayan used to describe her as a Holiday heroine.
